About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with eighteen locations across seven states. With an unrivaled, evidence-based clinical curriculum and highly individualized care, Avenues continues to set new standards in the world of addiction treatment. Our programs - spanning detox, residential, PHP, IOP and outpatient services - have transformed the lives of thousands to date. We are now hiring BHTs for the weekends! We have all shifts available: First shift (7am-3pm), second shift (3pm-11pm) and third shift (11pm-7am).
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
- If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
- Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles
Responsibilities
- Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
- Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
- Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
- Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
- Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
