Avenues Recovery Center is seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians for all shifts at our facility in Covington, LA. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required.
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
• Warm, compassionate, and empathetic personality.
• Dignified character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams, including admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, and phones.
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment.
• Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure the safety of both clients and staff.
• Record and escalate any critical communication or incidents in a timely manner.
• Fulfill all administrative duties, such as shift documentation, inventory, meetings, and office support.
