Persons with a bachelor level degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or criminal justice with no previous work experience; or
Persons with a bachelor level degree in any other field with at least 1 year of full-time paid work experience that involved direct contact with children or adolescents; or
Persons with an associate level degree or 60 credits toward a bachelor-level degree with 3 years of full-time paid work experience that involved direct contact with children or adolescent; or
Licensed practical nurse with at least 3 years of full-time paid work experience that involved direct contact with children or adolescents.
Have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task list as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BC-ABA.
Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation of your own!
Appropriate background checks.
Transcripts of their degree.
Clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances).
Ability to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs.
Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).

Responsibilities

Provide direct 1:1 behavioral health intervention to individuals between the ages of 2 to 21.
Implement treatment plans in various settings like homes, schools, daycares, and the community under the supervision of a Behavior Consultant (BC) and Assistant-Behavior Consultant (A-BC).
Deliver interventions focused on social skills, life skills, and adaptive functioning to transfer skills proactively to clients and caregivers.
Participate in ongoing training and supervision to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of behavioral health.
Ensure compliance with IBHS regulations and MCO guidelines while working on targeted treatment goals outlined in Individualized Treatment Plans (ITP).
Engage in direct client interaction.
Conduct necessary paperwork daily.
Submit weekly reports to the office for review.
Complete required Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and case related trainings as assigned.
Provide one on one ABA interventions for children and adolescents in home school and community settings.
Follow individualized ABA treatment plans to provide appropriate therapeutic services.
Transfer skills to school personnel and family members.
Attend weekly supervision.
Record data and chart progress daily.
