  • Persons with a bachelor level degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or criminal justice with no previous work experience; or
  • Persons with a bachelor level degree in any other field with at least 1 year of full-time paid work experience that involved direct contact with children or adolescents; or
  • Persons with an associate level degree or 60 credits toward a bachelor-level degree with 3 years of full-time paid work experience that involved direct contact with children or adolescent; or
  • Licensed practical nurse with at least 3 years of full-time paid work experience that involved direct contact with children or adolescents.
  • Have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task list as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BC-ABA.
  • Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation of your own!

  • Transcripts of their degree.
  • Clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances).
  • Ability to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs.
  • Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct 1:1 behavioral health intervention to individuals between the ages of 2 to 21.
  • Implement treatment plans in various settings like homes, schools, daycares, and the community under the supervision of a Behavior Consultant (BC) and Assistant-Behavior Consultant (A-BC).
  • Deliver interventions focused on social skills, life skills, and adaptive functioning to transfer skills proactively to clients and caregivers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and supervision to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of behavioral health.
  • Ensure compliance with IBHS regulations and MCO guidelines while working on targeted treatment goals outlined in Individualized Treatment Plans (ITP).
  • Engage in direct client interaction.
  • Conduct necessary paperwork daily.
  • Submit weekly reports to the office for review.
  • Complete required Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and case related trainings as assigned.
  • Provide one on one ABA interventions for children and adolescents in home school and community settings.
  • Follow individualized ABA treatment plans to provide appropriate therapeutic services.
  • Transfer skills to school personnel and family members.
  • Attend weekly supervision.
  • Record data and chart progress daily.
