About The Position

At Wood Violet Recovery, our overnight team provides a safe, supportive environment for adults receiving residential treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. As a 3rd Shift Behavioral Health Technician, you'll play an important role in helping clients feel safe, supported, and cared for throughout the night. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• The ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Nice To Haves

• Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, healthcare, social services, customer service, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the facility and conducting routine client safety and wellness checks.
• Maintaining a calm, therapeutic environment during overnight hours.
• Responding appropriately to client needs, emergencies, and crisis situations.
• Documenting observations, safety checks, and client interactions accurately and timely.
• Completing light housekeeping and organizational tasks to prepare the facility for the morning shift.
• Assisting with early morning client routines as needed.
• Providing transportation for approved appointments when necessary.
• Collaborating with nursing, clinical, and operations teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Supporting clients with professionalism, empathy, dignity, and respect.
