About The Position
Terros Health is seeking to hire Clinician Technicians (BHTs) and Peer Support Specialists for their Community Living Program sites. This is a healthcare organization focused on whole-person health, integrating physical health, mental health, and substance use care. The Clinician Technician role involves providing a safe environment for clients in a residential setting, engaging them in skills training to promote community integration and self-sufficiency. Responsibilities include screenings, assessments, treatment planning, caseload management, crisis management, care coordination, and direct client support in various life skills, health and wellness, personal assistance, rehabilitation, vocational, and crisis management areas. The role also includes overseeing medication processes and submitting clinical documentation. Full-time and On-Call opportunities are available.
Requirements
- GED/High school diploma with a minimum of 1.5 years of behavioral health experience, OR an associate's degree in the field of medical or behavioral, OR a bachelor's degree (not in the field of behavioral health) and 1 year of behavioral health experience, OR a bachelor's degree in the field of behavioral, OR a master's degree or higher in the field of behavioral health.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, electronic medical record proficiency (NextGen preferred).
- Valid AZ Driver License.
- Must be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience.
- Meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
- Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for one within 7 working days of employment.
- Interpersonal skills for professional and positive relationships with co-workers, members, families, and community members.
- Good communication skills, evidenced by a non-judgmental approach, effective listening, and positive interactions.
- Basic understanding of the DSM-V preferred.
- Must pass typing test with a minimum typing speed of 25 wpm.
- Must pass background check, TB test and other pre-employment screening.

- Certified Case Manager strongly preferred.
