About The Position

Oakwood Springs is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) to join their team. This full-time night position involves supporting the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN. The role ensures the consistent delivery of the schedule/program, patient supervision, maintenance of safety, and respectful treatment of patients and guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using personal or hospital owned vehicle
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
• Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
• Completion of additional age specific training within 30 days of employment as required
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a psychiatric health facility
• Direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients
