About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for the third shift at its inpatient rehabilitation center in Fort Collins, Colorado. The role supports daily residential operations, client supervision and engagement, and a positive recovery environment. It also includes training and supporting the BHT team, escalating concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician, and ensuring clients and staff follow Avenues policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• A warm, empathetic personality and the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• CPR certification.
• For applicants in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the BHT team in its operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure clients and BHTs comply with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
