This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey in a safe, structured treatment environment. The Behavioral Health Technician plays an essential role in providing direct care and support to clients receiving substance use and mental health treatment services. This position works closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure client needs are met while promoting safety, stability, and recovery.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license in the state of employment with a safe driving record
Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required

Nice To Haves

Previous behavioral health, healthcare, residential treatment, or related experience preferred

Responsibilities

Complete the intake process for new clients entering the program
Provide direct supervision, support, and engagement with clients in treatment
Maintain accurate and timely client documentation
Observe and document client self-administration of medications as applicable
Assist with client activities and daily programming
Follow treatment plans and support individualized client needs
Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide appropriate interventions, including crisis support when needed
Provide safe and professional transportation for clients as required
Transport clients to and from designated locations within expected timeframes
Supervise and support clients during transportation
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
Support dietary needs of clients as needed
Complete all required documentation related to services provided
Complete required training and maintain compliance with company standards
Perform additional duties as assigned
