We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Pool Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team. As a Pool BHT, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' recovery journey by providing direct care and assistance. This position is ideal for individuals who are looking to work extra hours and are available to fill in shifts at the last minute when needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in behavioral health or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a behavioral health or residential treatment setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to fill in shifts at the last minute and work extra hours as needed.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Background checks
- Drug screenings
- APS registry check
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and supervision to clients in a residential setting.
- Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and recreational activities.
- Monitor and document clients' progress and behaviors.
- Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and legal standards.
