As a direct care professional, the Behavioral Health Technician plays an essential role in delivering treatment services by interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Candidates selected for hire must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state-mandated clearances. Employment is contingent upon meeting all screening requirements in accordance with federal, state, and accrediting-body regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Valid Driver's License preferred.
  • Behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience preferred.
  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Transport clients to appointments and discharge locations using a company-provided vehicle.
  • Complete the intake process with new clients entering the program.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation.
  • Observe and document client self-administration of medication, as applicable.
  • Coordinate client activities.
  • Follow treatment plan objectives and address client-specific needs.
  • Evaluate clients' behavioral and emotional needs, providing appropriate responses, including crisis intervention.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment.
  • Assist with clients' dietary needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
