As a Behavior Technician (BT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you’ll be using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to create positive change in the lives of children. In this role, you’ll provide one-on-one support to children with developmental and behavioral challenges in their home or community settings, all while receiving PAID TRAINING TO BECOME AN RBT!

Requirements

  • A deep commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of children and families
  • Professional experience with children or individuals with disabilities (e.g., Nanny, Teacher, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, etc.) OR relevant educational background in psychology, sociology, education, or related fields
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 18 years old
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (ride-sharing or public transportation are not permitted for this position)
  • Ability to work evenings and after-school hours (client sessions are typically 2-6 hours long, Monday through Friday)
  • Willingness to start part-time while your caseload grows
  • Comfort using technology for documentation and administrative tasks

Responsibilities

  • Help children thrive by creating an environment where learning is fun, exciting, and personalized to each child’s unique needs.
  • Use individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans to support children and their families.
  • Collect data and document progress using our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, and assist with administrative tasks.
  • Support parents and caregivers in implementing behavior strategies to foster success at home and in the community.

  • Engage with kids in a meaningful way: Be a source of joy, fun, and inspiration for children while applying learning strategies.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans focused on the strengths and needs of each child.
  • Record detailed progress notes and data points in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
  • Empower families to support their children’s development at home.
