The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct care to patients in the Munson Pediatric Crisis Residential Program, a six-bed, short-term residential treatment program for youth ages 8–17 experiencing behavioral health crises. The program provides 24/7, trauma-informed care in a safe, home-like setting as an alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. During typical 7–14 day stays, residents receive individualized treatment that may include therapy, medication management, skill-building, and family involvement to support stabilization and a successful return home, to school, and to the community. The technician joins a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. The role involves supporting patient safety and comfort in the behavioral health therapeutic environment, building healthy and supportive relationships with patients, and completing clinical reports and documentation professionally and promptly. The program is projected to open in January, with a December start date. This is a full-time night-shift position, with hours listed as 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
