About The Position

The Lou Masterman Center (LMC) is a seven-bed Intensive Residential Treatment Service (IRTS) program serving adults with chronic mental health diagnoses such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and personality disorders. Many clients experience severe behavioral/emotional challenges and require structure, stability, and long-term support. Your role directly contributes to helping clients build the routines, skills, and confidence needed for more independent living.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED/HSE
Must hold or obtain by start date, MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL Residents), and proof of continuous auto insurance.
Must also meet CCC's Motor Vehicle Record standards policy and have reliable transportation.
The Class E is just a written required computer test. No Driving Test has to be taken for the Class E. Then you would go to the DMV after the test is taken (passed) and transfer the license over to that Class E.

Responsibilities

Create a stable, trauma-informed environment that helps clients feel safe, supported, and understood.
Guide clients in routines like hygiene, cleaning, meal setups, and medication organization-small steps that build confidence.
Support clients in learning coping skills, emotional regulation, anger management, communication strategies, and stress reduction.
Work closely with therapists, nurses, and fellow BHTs to ensure treatment plans stay on track.
Perform room checks, monitor the facility, and stay alert for safety or behavioral concerns.
Safely transport clients to appointments, activities, and community resources in our 15-passenger van.
Securely distribute medications, document accurately, and report discrepancies immediately.
Complete clear, compliant, and timely records that support client care and regulatory requirements.
