About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) for the evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) at our Eastern Shore facility. Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers committed to providing evidence-based clinical care and individualized treatment. We offer a comprehensive range of programs including detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
CPR certification required.
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

Manage all daily residential operations including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medication management.
Train and support the BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
Escalate any concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
Ensure client and BHT compliance with all Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
