About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) for the overnight shift. Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers dedicated to providing evidence-based clinical care and individualized treatment. This role is crucial in managing daily residential operations and ensuring a positive recovery environment for clients.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
