About The Position

Are you a compassionate and dedicated professional looking to make a meaningful impact in behavioral health and substance use recovery? We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to join our residential team and help provide high-quality, person-centered care. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in medical or healthcare settings who are passionate about supporting individuals on their recovery journey. You’ll play a vital role in supporting daily client needs, maintaining a safe environment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team. New to Quincy? Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years consistent work history
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Must provide evidence of being free from infectious/contagious diseases (e.g., TB) prior to employment and annually thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical/clinical experience strongly preferred (CNA, Medical Assistant, Patient Care Tech, EMT, or similar backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply)
  • Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Participate in treatment planning and team meetings
  • Assist with daily living activities and provide support/education
  • Ensure adherence to program guidelines and report concerns
  • Follow protocols and coordinate with nursing staff
  • Assist with intake, safety checks, and specimen collection
  • Support client transportation needs as required
