This role supports operations and counseling staff in day-to-day activities, working collaboratively as a team member.

Requirements

  • Must pass mandatory pre-employment screenings, check, and tests.
  • Has CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Have or be able to be taught an acute understanding of counseling and other treatment procedures for alcoholism and drug and addiction-related problems.
  • Have or be able to be taught knowledge of regulations concerning alcoholism and drug addiction treatment.
  • Have or be able to be taught knowledge of alcoholism and drug addiction and treatment procedures for such illnesses.
  • Minimum of 3 years of lived experience with substance use and/or mental health disorders for self, family member, or loved one, and the ability to appropriately share experience with clients.
  • Someone who views clients’ needs with a high priority and who would be a strong advocate for them with other treatment providers.
  • Someone who espouses a strong desire to help others.
  • Demonstrates dependability, punctuality, and job skills.
  • Produces quality and accurate work, using time productively and efficiently.
  • Demonstrates a cooperative, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Maintains confidentiality and follows confidentiality law and procedures.

  • Full understanding of the Medication Observation procedure and demonstrates ability to carry out duties.
  • Looks for ways to improve and promote quality, demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness in EMR Documentation, Infection Control, and Waived Testing.
  • Able to navigate the EMR with ease, with a core understanding of program operations and documentation requirements.
  • Prioritizes and plans efficiently, developing a realistic action plan.
  • Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Displays the ability to safely transport clients to appointments as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Transports clients safely to various doctor appointments and off-site meetings, if cleared to drive.
  • Types and performs data entry as needed for communication purposes.
  • Organizes and uploads documents to client files.
  • Conforms to all necessary quality assurance standards as well as all infection control protocols.
  • Drug tests clients according to Testing procedures and timelines.
  • Greets scheduled visitors and coordinates to the appropriate area or person.
  • Follows up with chore checks, helps clients comply with contracts, and communicates to clinical any issues.
  • Organizes cleaning supplies and materials.
  • Makes copies of printed materials as needed.
  • Follows Medication Observation policy.
  • Performs all necessary documentation regarding clients (i.e.: 30 minute/1 hour rounds, vitals or COWS/CIWA, group sessions).
  • Inspects vehicles upon shift change with a previous Treatment Tech member, if applicable.
  • Complete admit intakes and gather any information needed.
  • Is able to audit face-to-face rounds, if applicable.
