About The Position

This role is for a Behavioral Health Technician in the Residential Adolescent Unit at the Anderson Center in Anderson, IN. The position is full-time, working day shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a requirement to work every other weekend. The technician will provide direct behavioral health patient care, assist patients with daily living activities, and participate in diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions. Key responsibilities include observing and recording patient behavior, reporting changes in condition, and suggesting modifications to treatment plans. Establishing a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients is also a crucial aspect of this role.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Residential unit applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to pass background check.

Nice To Haves

Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.
Nurse Aide credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities
