We are currently seeking Behavioral Health Technician Trainer to support our clients and staff. The Behavioral Health Technician Trainer is an integral part of our clients’ well-being and our daily operations. A facility level trainer responsible for BHT training, coordination of training schedules, and conducting BHT competency evaluations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1- 2 years experience in residential drug and alcohol treatment setting preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with facility and regional leadership to identify training needs.
  • Facilitate BHT onboarding trainings; other trainings as needed.
  • Test and review onboarding and training materials.
  • Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, materials and equipment.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of trainee attendance, progress and achievements.
  • Maintain a database of all training materials.
  • Conduct employee surveys and interviews to measure training efficacy.
  • Remain up to date on organizational policies and procedures; able to answer questions from trainees during sessions.
  • Participates in work groups and gets involved in performance improvement of our organization.
  • Conducts Competency evaluations for the Behavioral Health Technicians.
  • Other duties as assigned.
