Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, both individually and in groups.
  • Professional demeanor with no favoritism shown.
  • Consistency in interactions with clients, staff, visitors, and the public.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations and react appropriately.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
  • Objective and ethical decision-making skills.
  • Calm and decisive in crisis situations.
  • Ability to sustain a team-oriented environment.
  • Role model appropriate behaviors to clients and BHTs.
  • Contribute to maintaining a strong clinical program.

  • Complete required and mandatory training hours.
  • Demonstrate strong skills in drug & alcohol (D&A) and mental health treatment.
  • Possess a working knowledge of HIPAA, licensing, and CARF regulations.

  • Experience in Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) and provide feedback on performance.
  • Assist with interviewing and hiring BHTs.
  • Support employee disciplinary actions.
  • Develop employee schedules.
  • Assist with client interventions.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment for clients.
  • Attend facility meetings and coordinate BHT department meetings.
  • Assign, monitor, and complete all required training for self and third-shift BHTs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
