About The Position

Oakwood Springs is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) III to join their team. This full-time position involves supporting the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN. The role ensures the consistent delivery of the schedule/program, supervises patients, maintains safety, and treats patients and guests with respect and dignity. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be at least 21 years of age
CPR certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
Completion of additional age specific training within 30 days of employment as required
Will require valid driver’s license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using personal or hospital owned vehicle

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a psychiatric health facility
Direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred
