Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Pittston, PA
About The Position
PRO ABA Services is seeking exceptional Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT)/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to provide IBHS services to children/youth in home, school, and community settings in Pittston, PA. This is an hourly position, with full-time or part-time hours based on candidate preference and client availability. The caseload includes ages 2-21. Technicians are responsible for the implementation of treatment plans, collection of daily data, and completion of daily notes under the direction of certified Behavior Analysts and Consultants. PRO Companies is a dynamic organization that employs professionals across diverse positions within their human services and health and wellness divisions, with a strong presence across various counties in Pennsylvania. The PRO ABA division specifically offers IBHS services to children and youth ages 2-21 with Autism and behavioral health diagnoses in homes, schools, and clinics.
Requirements
- High School diploma is required
- Strong desire and motivation to work with children/youth with a behavioral health diagnosis
- A minimum of one-year of recent experience working with children and/or youth
- Must be comfortable working with children who may exhibit challenging behaviors
- Completion of the 40 Hour RBT Training
- Current clearances (within 6 months)
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a human service area preferred
- Experience working with challenging behaviors is highly preferred
- RBT certification is preferred
- Safety-Care certification is a plus
