About The Position

The Ridgeway Program is a ten-bed, all-female, Intensive Residential Treatment Service (IRTS) that provides a high level of direct service and supports for individuals living with chronic mental health diagnoses (i.e., anxiety, bi-polar, depression, personality disorders, etc.) that often involve severe behavioral and emotional issues resulting in guardianship. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you'll be a key part of a supportive team helping adult women in a residential treatment environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED/HSE
  • Must hold or obtain by start date, MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL Residents), and proof of continuous auto insurance.
  • Must also meet CCC's Motor Vehicle Record standards policy and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, trauma-informed environment
  • Support clients with daily living skills (hygiene, meals, medications, etc.)
  • Lead or assist with therapeutic and recreational groups
  • Teach emotional regulation, coping skills, and healthy habits
  • Document observations and interventions accurately
  • Perform safety checks (rooms, belongings, and grounds)
  • Provide client transportation as needed
  • Assist during behavioral crises and follow emergency protocols
  • Track and distribute medications under agency policies
