About The Position

Daymark Recovery Services, Inc. is a mission driven, comprehensive community provider of culturally sensitive mental health and substance abuse services. NIGHT SHIFT CRISIS WORKER/MENTOR The Caiyalynn Burrell Child Crisis Center, located in Asheville, provides short-term (5-7 day) treatment and stabilization services in a safe, child-friendly setting for youth in crisis across Western North Carolina. Our mentors are a vital part of our treatment team providing critical support to children ages 6 through 17. Responsible for providing support and care to meet the physical and psychological needs of consumers through providing direct and indirect care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required with a minimum of 1-year experience with the population served and/or crisis experience, IDD experience is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and proficient in reading, speaking, and writing.
Nice To Haves
- AA degree or a BS/ BA degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides supervision and monitoring of each consumer.
- Assist with and model appropriate daily living skills.
- Document any reported or observed symptoms of consumers and report to the team.
- Laundry/cleaning duties while clients sleep
- Participate in Shift Report.
- Provide transportation.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
