About The Position

The Behavioral Health Tech provides basic patient care to psychiatric patients and maintains constant observation of patients who require a safety watch. This includes patients on suicide watch and patients who are confused, agitated, or at high risk for falls or self-injury.

Requirements

• BLS certification.
• Ability to perform basic patient care, including ambulation, toileting, skin care, and mouth care as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with the psychiatric patient population within the last 2 years.
