About The Position

Centerstone is a leading nonprofit behavioral health system dedicated to providing life-changing care. This role involves providing onsite observation, training, and community groups, with a focus on educating and training new employees based on experience. The position requires comfort with med pass and a valid driver's license.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent required.
One years' experience in mental health/addictions facility required.
Valid Florida Driver's License with a safe driving record and current auto insurance.
Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.

Responsibilities

Promote the mission, values and vision of Centerstone.
Provides assistance and supervision to clients in their activities of daily living.
Document changes in clients’ social behaviors.
Recognize deviations in clients’ mental or physical state and take appropriate action to ensure client and employee safety.
Maintain structure and consistency with the clients through the patient/client stay.
Develop a professional relationship with the clients in order to gain their cooperation and respect.
Document client behaviors.
Maintain professional and ethical code of behavior.
Serve as role model to lower-level peers by demonstrate problem solving skills and teaching clients coping skills.
Provide structure and guidance to clients in positive ways.
Trains newly hired Behavioral Technicians.
