About The Position
Join us at our 20-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital dedicated to adult and geriatric psychiatric care. We’re looking for passionate CNAs who want to make a difference in the lives of patients with mental and cognitive health conditions. Be part of a team dedicated to improving behavioral health one patient at a time. Our hospital is co-located with NHC HealthCare Maryland Heights, allowing for integrated, comprehensive care. We offer a supportive environment focused on compassion, safety, and excellence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Active CNA certification (REQUIRED)
- BLS certification (required)
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year experience in behavioral health
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
- Support RNs and providers in delivering high-quality psychiatric care
- Provide direct patient interaction and engagement
- Assist with individual and group activities
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
- Monitor and report on patient mental and physical health
- Conduct therapeutic groups for adult and geriatric patients
