The Night Lead provides direct care and shift leadership for adults experiencing mental health, substance use challenges, and homelessness. This role balances participant support with directing shift operations, ensuring services are delivered with empathy, dignity, and respect. Responsibilities include promoting skill development, assisting with daily living activities, supporting therapeutic and social programming, and maintaining a safe, structured environment. The Lead delivers timely interventions, and coordinates care through communication, documentation, medication administration, and meal preparation. As a shift lead, this position guides staff workflow and participant care while modeling professionalism, trauma-informed practice, and recovery-oriented philosophy, without supervisory responsibilities such as discipline or timecard approval.
