About The Position

Rite of Passage is hiring a Behavioral Health Supervisor for its Qualifying Houses in Markleeville, California. The California Qualifying Houses provide young women with a normalized high school experience while developing transition and independent living skills through an Integrated Care Model program. The program offers opportunities for positive change and achievement and has served this population since 1984.

The Behavioral Health Supervisor is responsible for the overall delivery and implementation of each individual Client Treatment Plan. The role includes attending Child and Family Team and treatment team meetings, completing assessments, and preparing Client Treatment Plans. The position offers the opportunity to help create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for youth.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour break. Starting pay is $95,000 per year.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Counseling, with current California registration.
• Be registered with the California Board of Behavioral Science.
• Obtain the appropriate number of continuing education units each year to maintain registration, if applicable.
• Have one year of prior experience working in a residential setting for children or non-minor dependents, their families, and/or the Juvenile Justice or Child Welfare system.
• Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
• Demonstrate empathy, patience, consistency, compassion, an honest work ethic, and respect for others.

Responsibilities
