The Behavioral Health Student Assistance Professional (BHSAP) has the unique opportunity to develop positive relationships with students and provide prevention and early intervention services to promote students’ mental wellness. The BHSAP provides individual and group counseling support to students impacted by mental health issues and trauma. You will also have an opportunity to be part of a unique team of professionals who meet weekly to support one another and come together for professional growth and to network with one another. The job of behavioral health student assistance professional is done for the purpose of providing leadership and assistance to school districts in the development of comprehensive programs in behavioral health support and intervention, counseling, and case management. This position will serve Nine Mile Falls School District. This position is 7.5 hours per day, Monday-Friday, for 190 days following the typical school schedule. This position will begin in August of 2026 with a specific start date to be determined.
