About The Position

Join our team as a Youth Worker and help young people discover their strengths, build confidence, and work toward their goals! As a Youth Worker, you’ll be part mentor, coach, cheerleader, and trusted support. You’ll create a safe and positive environment where youth can learn, grow, have fun, and feel supported. Requirements
- High School diploma/GED.
- CPR / First Aid certified.
- Ability to handle physical activities, including recreational activities
- Good driving record
Nice To Haves
- Associates or higher degree.
- At least 1 year of experience in serving at risk youth or in a residential program.
- A background or college courses in education, social work, or psychology.
Responsibilities
- Build meaningful, positive relationships with youth.
- Encourage youth to reach their personal, social, and educational goals.
- Plan and participate in fun group activities and community outings.
- Use TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) and trauma-informed strategies.
- Support youth during challenging moments and help them regain a sense of control.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and welcoming environment.
- Work as part of a team to support each young person’s individual needs and goals.
