The Behavioral Health Specialist works under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor/Manager and is responsible for providing case management services to a diverse clientele of children and families with mental health and substance use diagnoses. Services may be provided via telehealth, outpatient offices, and/or community-based settings. Provides case management for individuals experiencing First Episode Psychosis (FEP), delivers evidence-based, specialized treatment as part of a Coordinated Specialized Care Team, including individual, family, and group services, as well as psychoeducation for ages 15–35. Supports improvement in functioning, coping skills, self-esteem, and vocational/educational outcomes. Develops Individual Service Plans and connects clients to services such as psychiatry, case management, and supported employment, ensuring integrated care at an appropriate level of intensity.
