About The Position
The Behavioral Health Specialist will provide client supervision and care as part of the treatment team. The BHS will supervise and facilitate daily milieu of programs/services as assigned, such as assisting with activities of daily living skills, educational and community/recovery groups, and activity therapy. Read and implement a client’s treatment plan. Provide clients with positive cues and redirection.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age (automobile insurance requirement).
- Possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a “clean” or “acceptable” driving record.
- Pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
- High School Diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors or master’s degree, no experience necessary OR Associate degree plus one (1) years behavioral health work experience OR High School Diploma or GED plus Peer Support Specialist certification plus two (2) years of behavioral health work experience OR High School Diploma or GED plus four (3) years of behavioral health work experience.
