About The Position
The Behavioral Health Services Department (BHS) is seeking to develop a talent pool of current BHS School Psychologists to serve as peer evaluators. This opportunity will primarily occur from September 1, 2026, to December 2026, as needed, for up to 100 hours. The stipend will be paid hourly at $59.39 once the responsibilities are completed.
Requirements
- Currently working in the Behavioral Health Services Department of the Boston Public Schools.
- Appropriate school psychologist licensure.
- Familiarity with the DESE performance evaluation process.
- Completion of the BPS Peer Evaluator training.
- Understanding of the NASP Practice Model and best practices in school psychology.
Responsibilities
- Conduct performance observations.
- Meet with peers to review the performance evaluation process and to offer feedback, suggestions, and support as needed.
- Review performance evaluation artifacts and write performance evaluations.
