Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Drivers License preferred.
  • Law Enforcement preferred.
  • Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc preferred.
  • Security Professional preferred.
  • Security Guard preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in a security, military, or law enforcement role, preferably within a healthcare or high-traffic service environment.
  • Behavioral Health experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive patrols and monitor campus activity to identify and de-escalate potential risks before they impact patient care.
  • Execute rapid-response protocols for security incidents and alarms, serving as a grounded leader for staff and visitors during critical situations.
  • Mentor and train hospital staff on emergency preparedness and "Environment of Care" standards to ensure the entire team is ready for any scenario.
  • Document security narratives with precision, providing the insights needed to resolve hazards and continuously improve the safety of our facilities.
