About The Position

Fairfax Hospital Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Safety Coach to join the team. This role will be full-time night shift (3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am). Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant clinical work experience
• Basic Life Support Upon Start from the American Heart Association- Upon Start.
• Crisis Prevention Institute Within 3 Months

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the debrief of a safety event or safety concern.
• Participates in safety meetings and serve on the workplace violence committee.
• Educates, trains, and mentors Clinical Technicians and Mental Health Technicians on aspects of safety incident reporting.
• Disseminates and delivers safety messaging as appropriate to the organization.
• Provides direct care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
