At Interim HealthCare of Oklahoma City, we know behavioral health nursing takes a different kind of skill set, and we built this role for someone who already has it. Interim HealthCare of Oklahoma City is a locally owned, Veteran and nurse owned home health, hospice, and personal care agency serving the OKC metro since 1999. Requirements
- Active RN license in Oklahoma
- Previous behavioral health nursing experience required
- CPR certification
- Strong communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and genuine compassion for patients facing complex needs
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled home-based nursing care to patients managing behavioral health conditions alongside their physical health needs
- Complete assessments, document progress, and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team and physician
- Educate patients and families on medication management, safety planning, and coping strategies
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and case managers to support the whole person
- Recognize and respond appropriately to behavioral health crises in the home setting
