About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring Behavioral Health Registered Nurses (RN) for five immediate openings at an established inpatient behavioral health hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a full-time position with opportunities for both day and night shifts. The role involves providing direct patient care in an inpatient behavioral health setting, including performing nursing assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and patient monitoring. The RN will also supervise shift activities while supporting safe, compassionate patient care and will join an experienced behavioral health team dedicated to improving lives.
Requirements
- Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License REQUIRED
- Minimum 1 Year Registered Nurse Experience REQUIRED
- Minimum 1 Year Behavioral Health Experience REQUIRED
- Associate Degree in Nursing REQUIRED
- CPR Certification Required Within 30 Days of Hire
- De-Escalation Certification Required Within 30 Days of Hire
Nice To Haves
- Psychiatric, Chemical Dependency, Dual Diagnosis, or Geriatric Behavioral Health Experience Preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient response
- Supervise assigned staff and delegate patient care responsibilities
- Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to providers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Deliver high-quality behavioral health nursing care while promoting patient safety and dignity
