About The Position

St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a resource specialist to help parents and providers in navigating behavioral health resources within the community. Responsibilities include responding to emails, requests through Epic and phone calls. This is an on-site position, Monday-Friday during typical business hours at the St. Louis Children's Specialty Care Centers located in South County or West County. The role requires the ability to work at least 2 shifts per month.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
• <2 years of experience
• No supervisor experience required

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in the mental health or related area is a plus!
• Master's Degree in Education, Psychology, or Social Work

Responsibilities

• Obtains and documents caller demographics and brief description of calls.
• Provides age-appropriate care by identifying physical, psychosocial and developmental needs, adapting recommendations accordingly.
• Involves parent, guardian and physician in plan of care and decision making process.
• Responding to emails, requests through Epic and phone calls.
