About The Position

This role provides crucial support within the Behavioral Health clinic, focusing on patient care and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include rooming patients, assisting providers with procedures and treatments, administering injections, managing phone communications, educating patients, taking vital signs, documenting in charts, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and overseeing supply management.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Graduate of Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program
Must be certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants or obtain an unrestricted Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license
Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and professionally with clients of all ages, co-workers, practitioners and administration
Professional telephone etiquette
Positive attitude
Ability to work well within a team
Good organizational skills
Detail oriented
Good time management skills
Computer skills and knowledge of EMR

Nice To Haves

Previous clinic nursing experience preferred
