Behavioral Health Program Coordinator - Pediatric - Bilingual English/Spanish

Community Memorial HealthcareVentura, CA
$31 - $42

About The Position

The Pediatric Behavioral Health Coordinator supports access to Pediatric Behavioral Health services for patients ages 0–26 by reviewing referrals, conducting initial phone screenings, coordinating scheduling, and connecting patients and families to appropriate care. This position serves as a key point of contact for patients, parents/caregivers, providers, clinic staff, and the Pediatric Behavioral Health team. The Coordinator gathers information to determine potential program fit, explains available services and referral options, and connects patients to community resources or alternative services when needed. This position does not independently diagnose, provide clinical treatment, or determine final clinical eligibility. Clinical, safety, crisis, mandated reporting, and higher-level-of-care concerns are escalated in accordance with established program workflows. This position also supports documentation, closed-loop referral follow-up, program reporting, workflow improvement, and initiatives that enhance access, efficiency, and program sustainability. This is a grant-funded position currently funded through February 2028, with the possibility of continuation based on program needs, funding availability, and organizational approval.
