About The Position

We’re looking for certified Behavioral Health Professionals (BHPs) in or near Windham, Maine. As a BHP, you will provide care to clients between the ages of 1-21. Specifically, provide supervision and therapeutic support to children struggling with severe and persistent behavioral challenges. Support will be in the client’s home or surrounding community.

Requirements

• Interest in a career in early childhood education, social work, or psychology
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Clean driving record and background check
• Ability to provide active motor vehicle insurance & registration
• Ability to provide high school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• An active BHP Certification is not required! Our team ensures you have all the tools to become an excellent BHP.
• 1 year of experience working with children is a plus. (I.e. education, childcare, babysitting/nannying, etc.)
• Basic understanding of smart phone applications, access to email communication, and awareness around processing electronic documents such as daily session notes. Training is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support within the clients' personal home and surrounding community.
• Safely transport the client within your own personal, reliable vehicle.
• Follow the client’s treatment plan outlined and created by the client’s family and the case management team.
• Process electronic documents such as daily session notes.
