About The Position

MAS Community Health is hiring Behavioral Health Professionals and Mental Health Support Specialists across Maine. This role involves providing individualized support within clients' personal homes and surrounding communities. Responsibilities include safely transporting clients in your personal vehicle and following their treatment plans. Training is available for understanding smartphone applications, email communication, and processing electronic documents like daily session notes.

Requirements

An active certification is not required!
Flexibility to work some afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Clean driving record and background check
Ability to provide active motor vehicle insurance & registration
Ability to provide high school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

1 year of experience working with children or with adults with severe and persistent mental illness
Interest in a career in early childhood education, social work, or psychology

Responsibilities

Providing individualized support within the clients' personal home and surrounding community.
Safely transporting the client within your own personal, reliable vehicle.
Following the client’s treatment plan outlined and created by the client’s family and the case management team.
Basic understanding of smart phone applications, access to email communication, and awareness around processing electronic documents such as daily session notes.
