About The Position
Provides oversight and coordinates the group activities and events for Behavioral Health Services.
Requirements
- Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use challenges, either personally or through supporting a family member or loved one
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- 1 year related experience
- Critical thinking skills
- Effective communication skills
- Decisive judgment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Responsibilities
- Participates in outreach and aftercare recovery activities.
- Provides individual peer mentoring and/or recovery coaching.
- Contributes to new member and renewal member campaigns.
