The Behavioral Health Patient Care Associate provides physical care to assist patients in maintaining nutrition, hygiene, hydration, and elimination. This role involves collecting data for medical monitoring, reporting changes in patients' condition, and participating in the evaluation of patients' needs for general and psychiatric nursing care. The associate will also maintain a safe and clean environment, care for equipment, and participate in milieu groups and activities. Additionally, the role requires one-to-one observation of patients as needed and adherence to all established policies. The Behavioral Health Assistant is responsible for monitoring patients' whereabouts at all times as directed by the charge nurse or assigned nurse, including performing 15-minute checks.
