About The Position

Behavioral Health University Health is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Nurse Care Manager. Located in the heart of Kansas City, this vital role supports the holistic health of adults with severe and persistent mental illness residing within our residential programs. The Nurse Care Manager bridges the gap between psychiatric care and general medicine, ensuring our clients receive coordinated, high-quality healthcare that empowers them on their journey toward recovery and independence. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to look at the whole person, managing both the psychiatric and medical needs of clients in a supportive community setting. Rather than performing rapid-fire bedside nursing, you will serve as a clinical coordinator and health advocate, working closely with residential teams to build meaningful relationships with clients. We foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment where your nursing expertise is highly valued, professional growth is encouraged, and work-life balance is a priority.
