About The Position

MATClinics specializes in helping individuals overcome addiction, including opioid, alcohol, and stimulant use disorders. We integrate medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with comprehensive behavioral healthcare, mental health therapy, psychiatry, and ongoing support services to effectively manage substance use disorders and treat the whole person. Requirements

  • High level of customer service and professional phone etiquette required, with the ability to maintain empathy and composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, with a demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly, listen effectively, and engage compassionately with patients in recovery.
  • Fast and smart with software, apps, and digital filing.
  • Understanding (or readiness to learn) the specifics of addiction, recovery, and treatments like Buprenorphine.
  • Willingness to work evenings and every Saturday.
  • A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between all office locations as required.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, psychology, human services, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed patient interviews covering medical history, substance use, mental health, and recovery progress to help providers make informed treatment decisions.
  • Spend a significant portion of your day using technology, including documenting in the electronic health record, ordering and processing laboratory specimens, and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Prepare and coordinate long acting injectable medications while educating patients about available services, including counseling, psychiatry, and other resources that support their recovery.
  • Provide compassionate, professional customer service by answering phones, scheduling appointments, responding to patient questions, and helping patients navigate their care.
  • Work closely with providers and teammates in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly and everyone pitches in when needed.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic by assisting with light cleaning and supporting both the clinical and administrative teams throughout the day.
