About The Position

Beacham Memorial/Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Magnolia, MS is seeking an experienced Service Development Representative for the Natchez/Jackson Territory. In this role, you will perform case management functions within the community, acting as a liaison between providers and referral sources to ensure a smooth transition of services. You will be responsible for developing and implementing business and marketing plans, establishing strategic marketing plans to achieve facility objectives, and managing your individual marketing budget. This position involves collaborating with the medical director, program administrator, staff, and community to identify educational needs, developing referral relationships, and acting as a conduit for information between the facility and resources. You will collect information from referring professionals, meet with potential patients, conduct pre-admission screenings, and assist with care alternatives. The role also includes communicating screening results, promoting mental health prevention awareness, participating in community resource boards, and developing positive relationships with community networks to ensure a seamless continuum of care. The ultimate goal is to improve overall community life for mental health patients referred to the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop positive relationships with community resources and networks to provide a seamless continuum of care and maintain positive collaborative relationships.
