OneTogether Solutions is a majority Native owned administrative services organization headquartered in Boulder, Colorado. OTS works alongside federally recognized Indian tribes to develop and operate healthcare programs, providing the administrative, financial, compliance, and operational infrastructure that allows Tribally owned clinics to deliver care on their own terms. The Behavioral Health Manager increases the execution capacity of the Behavioral Health Department by turning approved strategy, clinical standards, and organizational priorities into consistent day-to-day implementation across OTS-managed programs. The position coordinates behavioral health initiatives, monitors quality and performance, supports clinic leaders, and closes follow-up loops that require behavioral health expertise but do not require executive-level authority, working within priorities and decision frameworks established by leadership while recognizing that enterprise strategy, final clinical governance, and high-risk regulatory decisions remain with the executive team. This role reports to the Director of Clinical Services and serves as an operational extension of the department. While leading the implementation and tracking of approved priorities, routine quality audits, KPI reporting, training within assigned competency, and clinic operational support, the position leaves enterprise strategy, policy approval, new program development, and external commitments with leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required
- 5–7+ years of progressive experience in behavioral health operations, clinical administration, or program management
- at least 2–3+ years in a supervisory or management-level role
- Proven track record of supporting and coordinating behavioral health initiatives across multi-site healthcare, clinical, or community-based organizations
- Expertise in behavioral health compliance standards, clinical documentation workflows, quality assurance frameworks, and data tracking systems
- Demonstrated experience utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and operational reporting platforms to monitor performance metrics
- Strong financial and administrative acumen with experience supporting departmental tracking and resource allocation
- Exceptional communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to partner effectively with clinical leaders, administrative staff, and multidisciplinary teams
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree (MSW, MA in Counseling, MHA, or MBA) strongly preferred
- Professional behavioral health or healthcare management certification strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct assigned behavioral health quality audits, documentation reviews, and workflow checks.
- Identify patterns, summarize findings, track corrective actions, and follow up with clinic leaders and staff until required corrections are completed.
- Run assigned daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports.
- Validate and reconcile exceptions, identify missing or inconsistent documentation, communicate needed corrections, and escalate unresolved or recurring concerns.
- Build and maintain work plans for behavioral health initiatives approved by the Director of Clinical Services.
- Coordinate owners, timelines, meetings, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Provide concise status updates and raise barriers or decisions that require executive action.
- Serve as a consistent point of contact for clinic leaders on behavioral health implementation needs.
- Support reliable workflows related to documentation, counselor practice, clinical supervision, productivity, patient engagement, case conferencing, and other assigned priorities.
