About The Position

Paragon Behavioral Health Connections is a comprehensive behavioral health organization dedicated to positively impacting individuals and families through compassionate, client-centered care. Our mission is to deliver personalized care that uplifts clients and builds supportive connections within communities. We offer community-based or in-home services, and digital solutions as needed, meeting clients where they are physically and emotionally to provide the right support at the right time. Serving communities across Colorado, we deliver equitable and creative “one-stop” behavioral health services, including in-home mental health and substance use treatment, crisis stabilization, early childhood support, intensive outpatient programs, assertive community treatment, medication management, and wrap-around support. Our vision is to empower individuals and families with complex needs to overcome challenges, build essential skills, and access resources for long-term well-being. Our programming includes intensive care management, Crisis Stabilization, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Child First, integrated co-occurring Intensive Outpatient treatment, individual and family therapy, medication management (including MAT), peer support, supported employment/housing, and holistic recovery services for mental health and substance use disorders.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a 2nd-year graduate program in Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services
  • Strong commitment to working with diverse populations in a community behavioral health setting
  • Ability to work 17–22 hours per week for a full year

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience across multiple service areas.
  • Receive free clinical supervision toward licensure.
  • Make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, families, and individuals in crisis.
  • Spend two weeks in each of the four tracks during the rotation phase: Admissions, Child & Family Services, Crisis Services, and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
  • Be placed in one department for the remainder of the year based on fit and interest during the placement phase.
